An Inspector ensures that machined parts meet quality and dimensional specifications using precision measuring tools and inspection techniques. They verify dimensions, tolerances, and overall product quality, working with blueprints, specifications, and various measuring instruments. They also document inspection results, identify defects, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Visual and Dimensional Inspection:



  • Examine machined parts for defects, wear, and deviations from specifications using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges, etc.
  • Blueprint Interpretation:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand requirements and verify conformance.


Quality Control:



  • Ensure that machined parts meet quality standards and tolerances, identifying and documenting any non-conformities.
  • Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including defect identification, corrective actions, and quality data.


Collaboration:



  • Work with production and engineering teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and improve processes.



Continuous Improvement:



  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and reduce defects.
  • Safety Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout the inspection process.


Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team



  • A minimum of two (2) years of Inspection or Machinework experience
  • A strong attention to detail
  • Required to successfully complete background checks, drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Observe and adhere to the appropriate industrial safety and health programs.
