The CCBHC Director of Nursing Services is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the integration of medical services with behavioral health care throughout all CCBHC teams across the agency leading to improved overall health outcomes for clients. This position takes lead in developing uniformity across all F&CS CCBHC team-based care positions.

To accomplish improving health outcomes, the Director provides oversight, uniform standards of care and direction for (1) CCBHC nursing services, (2) health related quality measures and results, (3) health care coordination, (4) health and wellness curriculum and services and (5) development and /or dissemination of managing chronic health conditions material.

The Director will ensure provision of high quality, patient centered care in a continuous improvement environment and in compliance with CCBHC standards and regulatory requirements along with agency strategic vision for greater integration.

The Director will further advance the utilization of Population health management in a whole person care CCBHC environment.

Primary responsibility will be to ensure that clients receive holistic, person-centered care that addresses both their physical and mental health concerns.

CCBHC Model of Care

Family & Children's Services works to heal hurting and abused children, strengthen families, and provide hope and a path to recovery for those battling mental illness and addiction. You will be working in an innovative and dynamic environment using a new transformative model of care Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). This model is characterized by innovative, team-based approach and whole person care for adults and children with a range of complex mental health and substance use challenges.

Utilizing multi-disciplinary teams, staff work collaboratively to provide a coordinated effort to enhance client recovery. Robust CCBHC services often result in better client outcomes and quality of care due to:



  1. Increased access to care and crisis services
  2. Expanded traditional community mental health and substance use services.
  3. Added Care Coordination and physical health screening for mental health clients
  4. Greater access to Social Services for clients' economic and social needs
  5. Increased specialized services for veterans, those most in need, and those impacted by the opioid crisis.



QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), Master's Preferred



EXPERIENCE:



  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing is highly desirable.
  • Comfortable working across teams in a complex CCBHC growing environment
  • Experience with and understanding of primary care/behavioral health integration and nonprofit management is a priority
  • Experience managing or supporting cross organizational partnerships and collaborations
  • Experience in training staff desired



CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

Current Oklahoma RN License Oklahoma

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:



  • Knowledge of CCBHC guidelines, regulations, and nursing clinical guidelines is a priority
  • Knowledge of complex medical and mental health conditions and national standards of quality care
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient centered care and quality improvement
  • Commitment to providing integrated healthcare and mental healthcare
  • Capacity to embrace and understand the change process and effectively support change management
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and high-level conceptual skills.
  • Strong planning and decision-making skills
