The Xbox Membership Planning and Insights team (which is home to Xbox Game Pass) is responsible for driving more subscribers, engagement and monetization to the Xbox ecosystem and platform. This role provides an incredible chance to have a significant impact on a marquee service in a fast-changing category by providing deep business health insights. It is highly visible position where you'll need to become a trusted partner and advisor across the Gaming organization. This role is for someone who loves a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where every day offers a range of new challenges. You'll enjoy solving complex problems, developing decision frameworks to drive clarity, and working effectively with cross-functional teams in an environment that is constantly evolving. A clear track record of using quantitative and qualitative analysis to drive decisions and effective storytelling are essential. The Business Planner supports the planning and execution of strategies that drive growth and performance across Xbox Game Pass's diverse content and product offerings. This role is for early-career professionals eager to apply analytical skills, learn about the gaming industry, and collaborate across teams to help shape the future of the business. This person will be responsible for driving insights and rhythms of business across Game Pass.
ResponsibilitiesPrimary responsibilities include: Participate in the rhythm of business (ROB) processes by supporting regular business reviews, preparing presentations, and ensuring timely delivery of insights Assist with the creation, distribution, and continuous improvement of recurring and ad-hoc business reports to support decision-making across the organization. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Game Pass Have a deep understanding of subscriptions drivers and the ability to effectively communicate trends to support business growth Gather and analyze data on market trends, player behaviors, and competitor activity to support content strategy Contribute to the preparation of materials for negotiations with partners and developers Build effective relationships with colleagues across marketing, finance, engineering & business organizations |
