Our quaint clinic in Tuscaloosa has proudly served the area for decades and continues to thrive thanks to our dedicated team and loyal patient base. As part of our team, you'll work alongside experienced Certified Prosthetists and Orthotists (CPOs) and have the unique opportunity to build and lead your own support team. This includes hiring assistants to help with shoe fittings and off-the-shelf (OTS) devices, as well as collaborating with a dedicated Business Development Manager to grow and expand the clinic's reach. We serve a diverse patient population across all age groups throughout the greater Tuscaloosa area. This position is clinic-based, with no on-call duties or travel to multiple locations, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional care in your home community. Our fabrication options are flexible-choose between onsite fabrication or utilize our nearby regional facility, staffed by a team of skilled local technicians who know you and your work, ensuring fast and reliable turnaround. Our patients are our focus and are the heart of everything we do. As a Hanger Prosthetist and/or Orthotist, you will leverage exceptional training and an extensive collaborative clinical community nearly 1500 providers strong to provide or supervise the delivery of comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic care. You will assess patients, formulate treatment plans, implement those plans, follow-up with your patients and participate in practice management. If you have not yet achieved certification, you will provide care under the direction of one of our certified clinicians. As a Clinic Manager, the Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist is also responsible for managing clinical operations of practice employees including practitioners, technicians and administrative staff to achieve financial and clinical goals. Your Impact Depending on the operational requirements, size of the Hanger Clinic and subject to limitations imposed by state and/or local law, your role may include some or all of the functions listed below.
Manage practice operations to ensure achievement of daily, weekly and monthly goals for sales, revenues, cash and accounts receivable.
