Overview

Portfolio analysts are responsible for providing support to the portfolio managers in servicing client portfolios. As a member of the investment team, you are responsible for supporting the portfolio managers in the prospecting, implementation, and on-going monitoring of clients' portfolios.As a team player, you should have a strong desire for the breadth of the role and contribution; ability to perform duties ranging from day-to-day administration to high level portfolio management.You will need to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team.

What You'll Do

  • Assist the portfolio managers in managing and servicing the discretionary portfolio management (DPM) clients
  • Adhere to all regulatory policies and operating procedures; responsible for ensuring proper documentation is on file for all wire requests and following high risk media (HRM) policy
  • Assist the portfolio managers in coordinating overall investment strategy and portfolio construction in line with the overall strategic asset allocation
  • Diligent in keeping controllable expenses such as overdrafts, errors, and claims to a minimum
  • Responsible for trust investment committee (TIC) and investment advisory committee (IAC) documentation including the APT risk questionnaire
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the DPM platform

Skills You'll Need

  • Undergraduate degree in a finance-related field
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Organized, demonstrate sound judgment, and possess a strong analytical tool kit with the ability to instill trust and deliver the desired results

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $75,000 to $100,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
