Posting Summary
Rutgers University-Camden is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator for the Office of Research.The Senior Program Coordinator supports campus-wide initiatives related to artificial intelligence (AI), undergraduate research, and student success at Rutgers University-Camden. In collaboration with faculty, staff, and campus partners, the Senior Program Coordinator will develop and implement AI-focused training programs for students, faculty, and staff, maintains the AI Campus website, and contributes to the preparation of grant proposals that support ongoing and future AI initiatives.
The Senior Program Coordinator will assist in promoting and supporting student research across disciplines by developing tools to track participation, maintaining a website of research opportunities and resources, and contributing to the creation of inclusive and accessible programming. This role supports efforts to connect students with research mentors, highlight student research outcomes, and analyze how participation in research contributes to academic success.
Additionally, the Senior Program Coordinator plays a key role in supporting grant-funded programs for the Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander ( AANAPI) grant, including coordination of a summer research institute and a year-long research program. Responsibilities include organizing program logistics, facilitating mentorship and stipend distribution, and helping to develop culturally relevant, student-centered programming. The position involves regular collaboration with academic departments, student services, and external partners to ensure high-quality support for all program participants.

This is a grant funded position contingent upon the availability of funds to support it. Position is funded through end of fiscal year 2026, renewal based upon available funding.

Salary Details Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, within university policy and salary schedules, as well as departmental budgets.

Mid Range Salary 84393.980
Maximum Salary 100509.480

Minimum Education and Experience
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience plus a minimum of two years' relevant work experience.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Working Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and coding.
Preferred Qualifications
MS is Computer Science, Data Science, Math, or a related discipline.
