Architect II

To help us grow into our next century, RK&K is currently seeking an Architect to be a part of our growing architectural studio, bringing projects to life from concept development through construction.

As an Architect in the RK&K Architecture Studio, you will manage multiple projects with various team members. Daily activities will include oversight of design with architects, consultants, in-house engineers and coordination with clients.

• Coordination and oversight of design teams
• Maintenance of design schedules and deliverables
• Production of architectural design documents and QAQC coordination with various disciplines
• Creation of architectural specifications
• Report directly to Architectural Director

• 10+ years' experience performing architecture.
• Minimum I Four year undergraduate or Five year professional degree in Architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, MicroStation and Adobe Creative Suites.
• Project Management experience
• A self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Must have an active portfolio and/or work samples for review.
• Familiarity with current building envelope technologies and Health, Safety, and Welfare design considerations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and ability to multi-task, work on many diverse building types, and to collaborate with other disciplines.

• Previous experience with design of infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with Architectural specifications in CSI formatting.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D modeling software
