Visit rbpaint.com. The Role: Are you detail-oriented and enjoy ensuring top-quality products? RB Metal Finishing is looking for a Shop Helper to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work closely with the General Manager and all production areas to optimize customer order workflow. What You'll Do: Movement of materials. Follow written procedures on shop orders and/or customer paperwork. Fill in as needed: Inspect and measure incoming, in-process, and completed parts using calipers to ensure they meet blueprint specifications. Complete inspection reports. Fill in as needed: Wrap and pack customer parts for shipment, ensuring everything is ready for delivery with care and precision. Fill in as needed: mask parts. Promote good housekeeping and safety practices. Perform simple maintenance tasks on equipment and facility. Work with our talented team to address any defects and maintain the highest quality standards. Collaborate with different departments to resolve any issues, ensuring a seamless workflow. Flexible Work Schedule and HALF DAY Fridays!: Standard work hours are Monday-Thursday 7am-4:30pm; Friday 7am-11am - however we are flexible if you need to start your day at a slightly different time to compliment your personal life. Training Provided: Don't worry if you're new to inspection or packaging - we'll equip you with the tools and knowledge you need to succeed. What We're Looking For: High School Diploma or GED (preferred). At least 1 year of manufacturing experience A sharp eye for detail and the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions with ease. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
