Overview:
We are seeking an Events & Sponsorships Specialist to join our Marketing & Business Development team in our Minneapolis office. This position plays a key role in coordinating the logistics and execution of a wide range of client-facing seminars, webinars, sponsorships, and events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and excels at building strong relationships with attorneys and business development professionals. This hybrid role (with flexibility for occasional early mornings, evenings, or travel) offers the opportunity to help deliver top-tier experiences that strengthen Fredrikson's brand and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Manage logistics for assigned practice group events, including invitations, venues, catering, A/V and materials
- Assist with sponsorship negotiations and oversee sponsorship benefit fulfillment
- Collaborate with attorneys and Business Development Managers to develop program marketing plans aligned with event goals
- Conduct post-event evaluations and measure success against predefined objectives
- Staff events and sponsorships as needed
- Maintain event records and metrics for internal reporting
- Track sponsorship deliverables, deadlines, and documentation
- Support internal firm events and assist with other assigned projects
Our Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience in event planning and/or sponsorship management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Willingness to work a hybrid schedule with regular attendance in the Minneapolis office and travel to firm offices as needed
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple high-volume projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a professional services or corporate environment (preferred)
- Familiarity with platforms such as Cvent, Smartsheet, ON24, Zoom, and InterAction (Preferred)

The salary range for this position varies by geographical market. In Minneapolis, the estimated starting annual pay range is $70,000 - $80,000 /year. The compensation offered will be dependent on the candidate's experience, skills, education, professional background, overall qualifications, and geographic market location.
