What You'll Do

The Director, Operational Optimization is a leadership role focused on improving operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability. This individual will analyze current processes, identify areas for improvement and collaborate with other members of the organization to implement initiatives to streamline operations and achieve organizational goals

As the Director, Operational Optimization, you will:




  • Analyze current workflows, identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.



  • Identify potential operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.



  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding operational performance and strategies.



  • Analyze complex situations, identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions.



  • Lead and motivate teams, manage performance and foster a positive work environment.



  • Optimize operations utilizing methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.



  • Analyze data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions to improve operational, financial and quality performance.



  • Understand budgeting, cost optimization and financial reporting.



  • Leverage knowledge and experience with complex manufacturing operations & global supply chains, distribution & logistics networks, internal cost control systems and warehouse & inventory management systems.



  • Proficient with web browser/internet search, MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.



  • Learn new software and systems as required.



  • Exhibit high level of commitment, initiative and integrity in all business decisions and actions




What You Bring



  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable field of study and 7+ year's relevant experience or an equivalent combination.
  • Working knowledge of materials, inventory control, warehouse, distribution, logistics, freight and manufacturing systems.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role, leading teams of managers and supervisors.
  • Project Management skills and experience skills is desirable.
  • Experience with Oracle WMS is preferred.
  • Fluency in English is required. Additional fluency in Spanish is preferred.

Work Schedules include....



  • This position will require up to 30% travel.


Compensation

Salary Range: $184,000-$223,200 per year. Actual compensation is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and business needs. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target range for new hire base salary/pay across all US locations. Actual pay is based on many factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographical location, work experience, skill set, relevant trainings and certifications, and business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus.
