About The Role:

The Construction Materials Engineering Technician role is ideal for professionals seeking to expand their hands-on testing experience while earning industry certifications. This position supports construction projects by ensuring the integrity, safety, and quality of construction materials through on-site testing and inspections.

  Project and Document Analysis: Review project specifications and accurately document field observations and test results.

  Metafield Application: Record and manage test data using field and lab data management software.

  
  
• 
  

  Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment used in the field and lab is functioning correctly and calibrated to standard.

  
  
• 
  

  Special Inspection Monitoring: Conduct inspections in accordance with IBC standards and industry regulations.

  
  
• 
  

  Stakeholder Interaction: Communicate clearly with supervisors, contractors, and clients regarding project updates and resolutions.

About You:

• 
  

  You have a High School diploma or GED.

  
  
• 
  

  You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in construction materials testing or inspection.

  
  
• 
  

  You have two (2) or more active certifications, such as:

  
  
  
  
  • 
    

    American Concrete Institute (ACI): Field Testing Grade I, Strength Testing Technician, Laboratory Technician

    
    
  • 
    

    International Code Council (ICC): Special Inspector (Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, Soils)

    
    
  
  
  
  
• 
  

  You have effective communication skills (spoken and written) in English.

  
  
• 
  

  You have strong math skills with a working knowledge of measurements including weight, volume, and pressure.

You Are Willing and Able to:

Perform the physical demands of the position with the use of company-provided Personal Protective Equipment such as:
