Location: Milwaukee, WI
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM; Friday 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM (Typically working until 2:00 PM with OT)
Pay Rate: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour, Based on Experience
Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Our client, a well-established manufacturer in Milwaukee, WI, is currently seeking a skilled Metal Spinner to join their production team. This is a direct hire opportunity for a hands-on professional with a background in metal forming and spinning processes. The ideal candidate will have CNC spinning experience, knowledge of raw materials, and the ability to read work orders and blueprints accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow and apply safe work practices consistently in all job duties
  • Perform manual and CNC metal spinning operations using spinning lathes
  • Read and interpret work orders and technical specifications
  • Program, edit, and set up jobs on CNC Spinning Lathes
  • Operate and maintain metal spinning equipment, including Circle Shears, cranes, and annealing tools
  • Modify or create wood tooling as required for specific jobs
  • Work with raw materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and other metals
  • Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, pi tapes, and tape measures
  • Understand and apply basic heat treating and annealing processes
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in metal spinning (manual or CNC) required
  • Ability to read and interpret technical work instructions and blueprints
  • Comfortable working with spinning lathes, Circle Shears, and overhead cranes
  • Basic woodworking skills to modify or create tooling
  • Familiar with measuring equipment and material handling
  • Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
