What You'll Do

IronArch is seeking a PMO Documentation Specialist to develop, organize, and maintain program-level documentation that supports program management, training, and deliverable tracking. This includes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and program reports. The Documentation Specialist ensures all communication deliverables are timely, accurate, relevant, and compliant with Section 508 accessibility standards. They work across teams to guarantee that documentation aligns with VA stakeholder needs and fosters clarity, transparency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Program Documentation Management

  • Develop and maintain SOPs and program-level reports.
  • Use SharePoint to store, manage, and provide access to documentation for authorized users.
  • Ensure all documentation meets Section 508 standards.

Communication & Coordination

  • Coordinate with PMO leadership to ensure timely delivery of documentation deliverables.
  • Align documentation with stakeholder expectations and evolving program needs.

Continuous Improvement

  • Review and update documents regularly to reflect program changes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve documentation quality, accessibility, and relevance.
Requirements
  • Public Trust Clearance or higher (ability to obtain and maintain required background investigation)

Preferred Experience

  • 2-5 years in technical writing or documentation development roles.
  • Experience supporting compliance-heavy federal IT environments.
  • Strong understanding of knowledge management practices using enterprise tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, and SharePoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 compliance standards and accessible document development.
