MUST :


Experience 508 Compliance Tester / Analyst

3+ years of experience in Software/QA testing experience

2+ year of conducting Section 508 compliance audits

Experience working in a Business Analyst capacity and work with a development/testing team to plan and implement actions to achieve 508 compliance within the systems

Experience creating User Stories for Development/Testing teams

Hands on experience with testing Salesforce applications

Experience supporting military clients or initiatives is preferred

MS Dynamics 365 experience is a plus

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Strong Documentation experience

Ability to work closely with stakeholders and business users when needed

Strong attention to details

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience

DUTIES :

Test applications to measure the accessibility and Section 508 compliance

Ensure all Salesforce solutions adhere to Section 508, WCAG 2.1, and ADA compliance standards

Work with platform software vendors like Salesforce and Microsoft to shepherd remediation of custom off-the-shelf (COTS) 508 defects

Conduct accessibility testing using JAWS and CCA to identify and resolve compliance issues

Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories

Work closely with stakeholders to define business requirements, processes, and system improvements for Salesforce Applications

Provide remediation guidance to developer teams

Recommend potential solutions by evaluating new and emerging assistive technologies that support Reasonable Accommodations designed to increase accessibility

Maintain current knowledge of Section 508, its amendments, updates, and industry best practices

Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information

Deliver accessibility training and seminars as needed for the program

Document testing methodologies and write accessibility compliance reports
