Description Acara Solutions is seeking a Stop Loss Coordinator in Williamsville, NY! The Stop Loss Coordinator provides operational and analytical support related to stop loss insurance policies. Type: 4-month contract Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with a hybrid setup - on-site every Tuesday. Pay Rate: 23-25/HR, DOE Key responsibilities include: Prepare both client-facing and internal report Analyze benefits in accordance with stop loss policies Respond to internal inquiries related to claim status Support the management of high-cost medical claims through negotiation with non-participating providers Collaborate with cost containment vendors and assist case managers as needed Ensure appropriate reimbursement, generate savings reports, and notify reinsurance carriers of high-dollar claims Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred. Two (2) years of experience in stop loss, claims operations, financial analytics, customer service,or client services required. Computer knowledge including advanced Word and Excel skills. Formulas and formatting skills are required. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Self-funded healthcare experience preferred. Knowledge of Self-Funded Insurance and Stop Loss insurance preferred.
