POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Career Ventures, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has a potential opportunity for a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) in the Colorado Springs, CO area supporting Mission Delta 31 Spacecrew Program Training Support. The DPM supports the Program Manager (PM) with execution oversight, leads Quality Assurance activities, and assists in instructor coordination and delivery. Ensures all services meet contract quality standards and oversees day-to-day performance.


This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal.



  • Supervises instructional personnel, provides formal feedback, and ensures compliance with instructional standards; serves as acting PM with full decision authority in PM's absence.
  • Implement and oversee the contract Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan for performance compliance.
  • Provide augmentation and support instructional classes or mission-based simulator instruction for Combat Training, Readiness Training, and Basic Qualification Training. Independently administering mission-based simulator instruction.
  • Supervise instructional quality, training execution, and instructor standardization.
  • Conduct lesson plan validation, scenario walkthroughs, and after-action reviews to ensure courseware fidelity and mission relevance.
  • Coordinate instructor certifications and evaluations in accordance with AFI13-602V1 and AFMAN 36-2675.
  • Develop the 2-year CT strategic calendar.
  • Track Other Direct Costs requests and coordinate with Contracting Officer's Representative/Contracting Officer.
  • Manage contractor personnel refresher training logistics; obtain Government approval for personnel attending Government-provided training and ensure compliance with PWS guidelines.


Payrate: $149,802 to $168,272 Annually

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Relevant Experience:



  • 10+ years of experience managing Department of Defense or Intelligence Community training programs or operations support contracts.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Management, Operations Research, or a related field.
  • Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Prior experience supporting USAF or USSF operational units, with familiarity in space operations or cyber/electromagnetic warfare environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-functional teams and subcontractors on firm-fixed-price or T&M contracts.
  • Experience managing TS/SCI-cleared personnel in high-visibility operational environments.
  • Program Management Professional certification or equivalent program management credential.
  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with eligibility for access to Special Access Programs.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and AFNet tools.
  • Familiarity with AFI13-602 series and PNT/GPS operations is preferred.
