Your Role: As a Docketing Clerk within our Patent team, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
What We're Looking For:
Required Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates should have prior experience in IP docketing and be proficient in IP Docketing Software (e.g., IP Manager), as well as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to escalate issues appropriately when they exceed one's responsibilities. Candidates should possess a professional demeanor, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also important. A commitment to the firm's policies and values, along with a willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment, is expected. Candidates should be open to learning and training in various aspects of patent docketing. While previous experience in a law firm or legal environment is preferred, it is not mandatory. Regular and predictable attendance is a core requirement for this position, and candidates should be willing to work beyond standard hours as needed.
