Baltimore MD Pay From:$36 Per hour Prepares patients for exams Review physician orders Ensure equipment is ready Explain exam procedures to patients Position patients Apply medical gels and electrodes Connect and adjust equipment and verify wave signals Enter test data and patient information and maintain records of test results. Produce imaging by positioning transducer, monitoring display, listening to signals, adjusting beam strength and focus, detecting artifacts that mimic abnormalities, and recording images Print exam data and graphics Produce measurements of heart wall, chamber size, and blood flow direction and velocity MUST: 3+ years of experience as an Echocardiogram Technologist Graduate of an accredited program for Radiographers or Ultrasound sonographers. EMR Rooming patients Experience providing patient education and explaining procedures Documenting and updating patient information in EMR Experience performing Echocardiograms ARDMS registered in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS) or CCI Echocardiography (RCS) BLS Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
