SUMMARY:

Responsible for overseeing team that processes and executes Almo ProAV Inside Sales . Ensure the work process follows appropriate procedures and maintains documents as necessary. Works to improve processes and maximize customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the daily operation of the Inside Sales department.
  • Monitor systems and procedures to ensure on-time order processing and customer satisfaction
  • Advise customers concerning customer service related issues and escalations
  • Respond to customer inquiries and problem solving in a professional, effective, and timely fashion
  • Liaison between Sales Managers and Inside Sales team.
  • Oversee customer issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution.
  • Train and supervise Inside Sales staff
  • Coach staff in order to achieve high performance
  • Support and implement strategic plans for Inside Sales department to accommodate corporate goals
  • Direct assigned activities and set performance goals accordingly
  • Develop and implement procedures pertinent to the effective and efficient operation of the Inside Sales department
  • Maintain in-depth working knowledge of Almos systems and processes


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • Bachelors degree and/or related work experience.
  • Systems Experience: Working knowledge of MS office, with proficiency with Excel spreadsheetsdata entry and manipulation.
  • Able to think outside the box and find solutions to help the customer while keeping profitability in mind
  • Must be extremely organized, have attention to detail and be able to manage multiple open returns at a time
  • Customer service orientation with strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team orientation and ability to support others during high volume or shifting priorities
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations (customers, vendors, etc.).
  • Ability to deal with vendors and negotiate via telephone conversations.
  • Travel may be required based on location to meet with team members or peers at various locations.


LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, memos and technical information. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

REASONING ABILITY: Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with frequent changes and realignment of priorities. Ability to problem solve independently.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The majority of each day is spent seated working at a computer and by phone. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.
