Join the Home & Community Care Services team within OptumHeath and play a vital role in supporting its finance team. As a Financial Analyst, you be responsible for key financial processes, including reporting, forecasting, and SG&A consolidations, to provide actionable insights and drive business decisions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Assist in preparing and delivering accurate financial reports to support decision-making processes
  • Support forecasting efforts, including gathering data, analyzing trends, and developing projections
  • Perform SG&A consolidations by aggregating financial data across multiple business units and ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Analyze financial data to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain and update financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, validate, and synthesize financial information
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies in all reporting and analysis activities
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations

Required Qualifications:



  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office - Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage and synthesize large amounts of data
  • Ability to prioritize & manage workloads with concurrent deadlines
  • Ability to use proper discretion when dealing with confidential information exhibiting a high level of integrity



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience using Hyperion Essbase and PeopleSoft Financials
  • Comfort working with financial models
  • Data visualization skills using Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change
  • Assertive, self-starting personality with a customer service attitude
  • Solid analytical and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
  • High attention to detail
  • Seeks ways to improve job and operational efficiency
  • Self-Starter who can take direction and develop solutions to requests
  • Comfort working in a collaborative and matrixed organization



Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $48,700 to $87,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
