LOCATION OF (1) POSITION(S) TO BE FILLED: DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, ACADEMIC OFFICES, DAVIDSON COUNTY Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university. OR Associates degree and experience equivalent to two years of full-time professional educational or administrative work. Substitution of Experience for Education: Qualifying full-time professional, educational, or administrative work may be substituted for the required education on a year-to-year basis up to a maximum of four years. Overview Under immediate supervision, the Licensure Analyst works as part of the Licensure team to effectively and efficiently process high volume, routine transactions utilizing the TN educator licensure management system. This role also contributes to licensure processing support tasks and provides verbal and written responses to general licensure questions. Employees in this class are responsible for processing a high volume of requests of routine difficultly. Responsibilities 1. Develop and/or grow an understanding of state board licensure policies, rules, and operating procedures to process licensure transactions, which includes reviewing applications for multiple transaction types such as credential issuance, renewal, reactivation, and advancement. 2. Accurately and effectively process licensure applications and/or complete licensure processing support tasks as assigned, in accordance with state board licensure policies. 3. Complete necessary background checks, educator credentials, and education verifications for applications. 4. Effectively communicate with stakeholders regarding licensure rules, policies and procedures by providing timely and accurate information through email and the TN educator licensure management system, utilizing communications templates and guidance documents, and escalating to leadership as appropriate. 5. Contribute to licensure processing support tasks including document routing, file management, data entry and stakeholder support. Competencies (KSA's) Competencies:
