The Global Product Manager will lead the Product Life Cycle Management (PLCM), support the Launch of Strategic Products, assist in Toll Customer Management and develop and maintain Business Insights and Reporting Dashboards. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including R&D, synthesis, sales, and operations to deliver innovative solutions that meet internal and external stakeholder needs and drive business growth. Additional Information The travel for this positions is 10% General Product Line Management:
- Develop and implement a product line strategy to support strategic plan
- Manage Product Lifecycle by monitoring product performance, profitability, and market relevance and recommending actions such as product repositioning or rationalization.
- Develop and maintain product's technical information (Product Data Sheets, Label Directions, MSDS, etc.)
- Develop pricing strategies and support go-to-market plans
- Support strategic product planning/road map utilizing Multi-Generational Product Planning (MGPP) methodology
- Support sales team in responding to customers product sustainability requests including LCA reports & customer-specific questionnaires
New Product Launch Readiness and Enablement:
- Develop and manage internal launch plans, timelines, and readiness checklists
- Coordinate with R&D, operations, sales, and marketing to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and prepared
- Ensure product data, documentation, and systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) are updated and accurate.
- Gather feedback from internal teams post-launch to identify improvement opportunities.
Toll Customer Management:
- Partner with sales team to manage relationships with toll customers
- Identify opportunities to help drive strategic growth in toll accounts, and / or eliminate roadblocks restricting growth
- Coordinate Production Planning: Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to align toll production schedules with demand forecasts and inventory targets
- Leverage best practices across toll customers
- Cost and Contract Management: help develop tolling agreements, monitor cost structures, and identify opportunities for efficiency improvement
- Increase visibility into contract landscape to better understand EPS responsibilities and risk exposure
Business Insights & Reporting:
- Develop dashboards that reports daily positioning, supports portfolio analysis and optimization, and monitors win loss analysis etc.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop and maintain regular reports and executive summaries using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage internal tools and dashboards to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the product portfolio.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future (e.g., OPT, CPT, H1B, EB-1,etc.)
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Chemistry, Polymer Science or Engineering
- Must have five (5) years of working experience in product management, technical marketing, R&D, or procurement within the polymer or chemical industry
Preferred Qualification:
Have working experience in Science & Engineering background with technical focus in Polymer Industry Have a Master Degree or Higher in Business Administration (MBA) Have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis Have working experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI / Tableau
