SUMMARY: The Senior Project Manager will manage and oversee all aspects of the projects to which he/she is assigned. The successful PM will identify and secure internal and external resources, interact with client, manage schedules and budgets, ensure safe execution of field work, and deliver quality work product as defined by clients and regulatory agencies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Ensure adherence to all safety practices and procedures while performing or supervising the performance of tasks in all work areas.

* Coordinates and supervises assigned project staff and subcontracted workers.

* Generates quality of work product in accordance with company quality control protocols.

* Prepares written reports and other documents necessary for the completion of specific projects.

* Cultivates and maintains the necessary contacts with clients and regulatory agency personnel.

* Trains and mentors lower-level staff.

* Prepares and/or Supervises the creation of proposals for future work.

* Tracks project schedules and budgets and general profitable, on-time performance.

* Performs risk analysis, resource and reserve calculations using deterministic and probabilistic methods.

* Investigates and analyzes exploration prospects and development opportunities using cross-sections, structural/statigraphic framework analyses, geochemical, seal and pressure data.

* Collects, organizes, evaluates and maps data to determine technical feasibility and economic robustness of an opportunity and makes appropriate recommendations to management for company investment.

* Utilizes and interprets well and seismic data to integrate geology with seismic interpretations.

* Creates data presentations.

* Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Directly supervises employees within the department(s).

* Indirectly supervises employees within the department(s).

* Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

* Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's Degree (BA) in Management or a related field from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Certificates, licenses and registrations required: Construction Management Certificate or Professional Registration is preferred

* A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management.

* Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.

* Must be able to review and edit reports and proposals

* Ability to delegate work and handle multiple projects as well as multiple delegated projects.

* Firm understanding of the regulatory processes driving construction and restoration work.

* Ability to control and manage budgets and schedules. Able to make modifications to budget and schedules in the field and in short notice.
