More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Machine Operator-Metal Fabrication in Littlestown, PA with Signify (5am to 3pm Monday to Thursday, OT as needed).

  • Operate Drill Press/Saws/grinding tools/Sheers and punch and rivet machines according to blueprint

  • Develop and fabricate tooling for the Metal Fabrication Department

  • Set up and operate metal working equipment

  • Work from drawings and written or verbal instructions

  • Check parts against drawing for accuracy; inspect all work of lower grade employees

  • Cut and grind glass and acrylic

  • Design and construct jigs and fixtures

  • Use blast equipment

More about you

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • 1+ years' experience working in a machine shop in a manufacturing environment

  • Knowledge of proper use of basic measuring tools (tape measure, protractor, calipers, etc)

  • Experience reading/working from drawings and blueprints

  • Ability to read, write and speak English

  • Ability to physically move materials weighing up to 40 lbs

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs
