Production Superintendent, McHenry

Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 3:30p

Responsible for production department leadership of activities and personnel to manufacture quality components meeting service requirements for both day and night shifts. Responsible for achieving Production and overall McHenry goals with other Department Leaders. Directly supervises the day shift production group in Molding and BOV. Oversees the night shift production team through a direct report Production Supervisor and their staff. Works closely with other departments coordinating activity and ensuring McHenry, company goals and objectives are met. Institutes continuous and strategic improvements along with annual planning and goal setting. Responsible for production staffing, staff development, and training. Oversees related budgets and metrics.

• Responsible for all aspects of safety, including monitor work procedures, safety observations, correcting unsafe areas or acts and conducting accident investigation activities in the event of an accident or near miss.
• Responsible for maintaining housekeeping, including 5S, ISO, BRC and other requirements.
• Coordinates efforts focusing on CI, cost saving initiatives and related programs.
• Provides and/or coordinates required training for production employees.
• Interviews and hires new employees.
• Oversee new employees onboarding and training.
• Monitors staff to ensure proper quality & performance standards are achieved, attendance requirements are maintained and plant rules followed and administers discipline as needed.
• Evaluates and maintains good employee performance.
• Administers performance appraisals and employee development programs.
• Responsible for maintaining proper housekeeping for molding and BOV equipment and plant.
• Demonstrate positive and supportive leadership.
• Leads shift meetings in a motivating and goal orientated fashion.
• Monitors the Preventive Maintenance schedules for all equipment.

  In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the annual salary range for this role is $98,000 to $128,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
