Associate Analyst, Systems (ROPS)

This Systems Analyst position provides technical support to Accounts Payable department including support for all of Accounts Payables applications. Additionally, this Systems Analyst position is responsible for supporting process improvements, special projects, and providing accurate reporting throughout the Village.

1. Reporting - 20%

• Prepare, modify, and develop selected reoccurring and ad-hoc SQL reports.
• Design queries and manipulate large volumes of data.
• Apply reasoning and creative thinking to turn abstract concepts into decision making tools and reporting.

2. System Maintenance and Support - 20%

• Support and maintain Oracle AP Module, Kofax, MarkView, IBM EDI Translator, Concur, and several other systems.
• Troubleshooting day-to-day issues with users using ticketing system.

3. Innovation - 20%

• Work with IT, GL, and other departments to test and implement application enhancements and modifications.
• Implementation of new applications or additional functions in current applications - including testing, documentation, and support.

4. Process Improvement - 20%

• Provide and recommend technical solutions to optimize data management and improve business processes.
• Work with others to remove obstacles to achieve team and department goals.
• Utilize Alteryx, macros, and VBA to streamline processes

5. Guidance and Support - 10%

• Provide backup support to System Specialist on a need by basis.
• Guide, train, and develop System Specialist.

6. Other duties as assigned - 10%

• EXPERIENCE:2 - 4 years

• EDUCATION:High School Diploma

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, TRAINING, OR QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SYSTEMS ANALYST

• SQL Experience (TOAD), REQUIRED
• Advance knowledge in Microsoft Excel, REQUIRED
• Oracle Experience in Accounts Payable Module, PREFERRED
• Knowledge of EDI (810) files, PREFERRED
• Alteryx Experience, PREFERRED
• General Computer Knowledge, PREFERRED
• Experience Leading Projects, PREFERRED
