Under general supervision, this position research, designs, schedules, and implements training projects. Develops intermediate education materials, which might include introductory- to intermediate programming content, back-office processing/computer room functions, advanced operating procedures, and advanced internal topics and procedures. Typically carries out in-depth research in technical topics, with review/validation by subject matter experts.

This position may be worked out of our Allen, TX; Birmingham, AL; Cedar Falls, IA; Charlotte, NC; Lenexa, KS; Louisville, KY; San Diego, CA; Monett, MO or Springfield, MO offices and will be hybrid with 2 days/week onsite. The salary for this position will be between $50,000 - $75,000/year and will ultimately be based on a candidate's location and experience.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Research, design, schedule, and implement training projects.
  • Assist employees in other departments with writing approach and technical issues.
  • Analyze specific needs of education development projects. Collect and review technical specifications required of education projects.
  • Write, design, edit, and maintain documentation and training materials.
  • Coordinate publication and dissemination of those materials.
  • Develop, evaluate, and design instructionally sound appropriate educational materials according to department specifications.
  • Maintain education files and file hierarchy according to department specifications.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in education design.
  • Associate's degree.
  • Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools and multimedia development software.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in a financial institution or financial technology company.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, manage time well, and be a self-developer.
  • A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization. Works on moderately complex and diverse projects. Exercises good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of PC, classroom environments, and MS Office Tools.
  • Able to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Able to balance and prioritize multiple demands from various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates problem solving skills.
