KPMG is currently seeking a Director, KPMG US Foundation to join our Corporate Affairs organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Foundation, ensuring that programs and initiatives are effectively implemented, and aligned with the Foundation's mission and strategic goals
  • Lead and manage the Foundation's staff, including hiring, performance evaluation, and professional development to maintain a high-performing team
  • Facilitate strategy refresh and new strategy development with board assistance and implement necessary changes; direct changes to the development and execution of the Foundation's programs and projects, ensuring they align with the strategic objectives and effectively serve the community
  • Manage the Foundation's budget, ensuring responsible stewardship and optimal use of financial resources for maximum impact; ensure compliance with all regulatory matters to maintain tax-exempt status and public trust, adhering to federal, state, and local laws, and following ethical and operational best practices; key aspects include financial management, governance, and record-keeping
  • Oversee the evaluation and assessment of program progress and supervise the preparation of reports to the Board and stakeholders, demonstrating the impact and outcomes of the Foundation's initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, community leaders, and the Board, to support and advance the Foundation's mission in the non-profit sector
Qualifications:
  • Minimum ten years of recent experience in an executive or senior management role within a non-profit organization or sector is preferred; minimum ten years of recent experience in a related field in philanthropy, non-profit foundations, managed giving, and more
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Direct experience leading a private, family, and/or corporate foundation or corporate giving program, including experience working with a Board in the non-profit sector
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment; passion for non-profit work and a deep commitment to the mission and goals of the Foundation
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and fiscal management; successful track record in program development, implementation, and evaluation in a non-profit setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels; analytical and strategic thinker with the ability to inspire and lead a dedicated team towards achieving impactful community outcomes
