Description

The Oncology Care Navigator National Trainer will deliver industry leading training and develop strategies to increase learning effectiveness within the scope of services of Syneos Health and the Janssen. Reporting to the National Program Director, the OCNNT position requires high initiative as this individual will create, define and drive learning strategy, to lead the approach for training and deliver expected outcomes.

This full-time individual will design specific training programs and provide oversight of content development, learning effectiveness and demonstrate process efficiency while interacting and training high level, oncology clinical professionals, internal stakeholders and client groups. This role is a critical part of the talented team and will promote best-in-class performance of people and drive an enterprise culture of continuous learning. The Oncology Care Navigator National Trainer will interact with Oncology Care Navigator team members including leadership.

Key Job Responsibilities:

(Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following)

  • Develop and deploy, with Janssen, all required training materials from home study and throughout the evolution of the program. This includes certification for field readiness and annual required training. Enhance focus on empathetic, motivational interviewing skills as well as technical training with various virtual platforms.
  • Interacting and training clinical professionals with adult learning principles to enable optimal learning retention and application.
  • Will be an integral component of all client discussion concerning training objectives, expectations, program development and execution.
  • The Oncology Care Navigator National Trainer's primary objective is to achieve overall customer satisfaction in the creation and delivery of all required training programs.
  • The Oncology Care Navigator National Trainer will assist in skills analysis of all field roles, identifying gaps and developing training activities to enhance skillsets.
  • Trainer may conduct field visits/participate in call monitoring to assist those with increased training needs or identify key insights which would benefit entire team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Clinical degree preferred (RN, BSN, PhD, PharmD, MD, RPH etc.)
  • Oncology experience required
  • 3+ years of training in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational, planning and interpersonal skills preferred
  • Ability to work proficiently with MS Office
  • Ability to travel (50-75% post COVID)
