Job Description

Position Description:



Join a team responsible for the delivery of cybersecurity and IT security. Success in this role will require a passion for Cybersecurity. Utilize your strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning to maintain technical proficiency in Cybersecurity.



Position Location:



  • This is a hybrid role working partially in-office (Lincoln, NE) and partially from home.


What you do:



  • Monitor and respond to Cybersecurity systems alerts


  • Assist with analysis and triage of Cybersecurity threats
  • Categorize incidents and follow corresponding escalation procedures
  • Document, communicate and report cyber security events
  • Research threats, vulnerabilities, exploits, and other relevant threat information
  • Participate in implementation of ongoing management of security programs and information security tools
  • Assist with troubleshooting, upgrading, enhancing information security tools.


What you bring:



  • 1-2 years of experience related to Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and/or Risk Management required
  • Degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Cyber Incident Responder experience desired
  • Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) desired
  • Understanding of Cyber Incident Response processes and concepts desired
  • Previous experience with or understanding of common computing attack vectors and computer systems vulnerabilities desired
  • Cybersecurity publications (e.g., NIST 800-53) familiarity desired
  • Familiarity with Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks desired
  • Understanding of Linux and Windows Operating Systems, Computer Networking, SIEM, SOAR, and EDR technologies desired

About this Position's Pay
The pay range posted reflects a nationwide minimum to maximum covering all potential locations where the position may be filled. The final determination on pay for any position will be based on multiple factors including role, career level, work location, skill set, and candidate level of experience to ensure pay equity within the organization. This position will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits package (see above for details). This position will be eligible to participate in our Short-Term Incentive Plan with the annual target defined by the plan.
