Description

An adjuct teaching positions for the class, Capstone Advisor (Instructor): This position is to be a Team advisor on the Master of Entertainment Industry Management Capstone Project. The Capstone Project is a two-semester applied research project that represents the final requirement of the Master of Entertainment Industry Management (MEIM) Program. The Capstone provides the opportunity for students to use the sum of their knowledge and skills to address real-world issues facing the entertainment industry. Working in teams and consultation with industry professionals, students will define, outline, and deliver an in-depth examination of a specific research topic, fulfilling a series of deliverables throughout the project, and adhering to established research project formats and guidelines. There are two advisors on each project: the team advisor who works closely with the team during both semesters, and the overall advisor (faculty member of record).


Salary Range $2500-4000 per semester


Qualifications

Instructor should be a practitioner or academic with direct experience or research work in the entertainment industry. Recent experience in teaching graduate or professional courses is preferred. A master's degree is preferred, but industry experience is just as necessary.
