Stock Plan Manager - Denver, CO (Hybrid)

We are seeking an experienced Stock Plan Manager to lead the administration and strategic management of our global equity programs, including Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), Performance Share Units (PSUs), and Nonqualified Stock Options (NQs). This role is essential in ensuring the accurate, compliant, and timely execution of our equity plans for employees across 50+ countries.

You will partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Payroll, HR, and external vendors to manage end-to-end processes related to equity awards. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, collaborative, technically proficient equity professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, and global environment.

Role Responsibilities

Equity Program Administration



  • Manage the global administration of RSU, PSU and NQ programs from grant issuance through settlement and reporting.
  • Oversee equity vesting, delivery, and termination events in compliance with plan rules and local regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in equity management systems, as well as strong internal process documentation.
  • Review and improve internal processes for efficiency, best practices and risk mitigation.


Compliance and Reporting



  • Ensure compliance with global tax, securities, and employment laws related to equity compensation.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams on valuation, expense recognition, tracking of shares available for grant and other financial reporting needs.
  • Support internal and external audits related to equity compensation.
  • Prepare data and disclosures for SEC filings (e.g., proxy statements, 10-K, 10-Q).


Global Taxation and Withholding



  • Coordinate with global payroll teams and tax advisors to ensure accurate tax treatment and withholding across jurisdictions.
  • Monitor and implement local regulatory and tax changes affecting equity compensation.


Vendor and System Management



  • Serve as the primary liaison with equity plan administration vendors.
  • Manage system enhancements, integrations, and issue resolution related to equity platforms.
  • Ensure data integrity and robust controls across all equity-related systems.


Stakeholder Support and Education



  • Partner with HR and Legal to design and deliver employee communications and training materials.
  • Provide guidance to employees and executives on equity-related inquiries and transactions.
  • Support executive and Board-level reporting on equity plan utilization and outcomes.


Role Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, HR, or related field; CEP (Certified Equity Professional) designation strongly preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in equity plan administration at a public, multinational company.
  • Deep knowledge of equity award types (RSUs, PSUs, NQs), global tax considerations, and SOX controls for equity compensation. ESPP program design and administration experience preferred.
  • Experience with equity administration platforms and vendors (e.g., Fidelity, BAML, Morgan Stanley, ETRADE, or Shareworks).
  • Familiarity with SEC disclosure requirements and public company reporting standards.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong project management skills, a collaborative approach and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working with senior leadership and employees globally.

Salary

The base salary range is $110,000 - $150,000 USD per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance.
