Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking an attorney with 5+ years of real estate law experience to join our Real Estate Practice Group as special counsel in our Orlando office. This position supports a dynamic practice focused on commercial real estate transactions in the healthcare and hospitality sectors. Qualified candidates must have experience in commercial real estate and financing transactions involving healthcare facilities, hotels, resorts, retail centers, office buildings, and multifamily developments. Familiarity with healthcare licensing and regulatory issues, as well as hospitality structures such as condominium formations, fractional ownership plans, and private residence clubs, is a plus.

Ideal candidate should have experience drafting and negotiating documents related to real estate and financing transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan agreements, easements, CC&Rs, development agreements, property management agreements, and joint venture agreements. Strong writing and communication skills are required, and experience with state and federal filings, advertising regulations, and membership programs in the hospitality sector is preferred.

We are seeking a well-rounded, highly motivated attorney with strong academic credentials and excellent writing and communication skills. The candidate should expect direct interaction with partners and clients and must have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic.

In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, Foley provides salary ranges for all positions. The expected salary for this position is $250,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at Foley, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
