Job Title: Systems Manager I Department: Computer Science College/Division: College Of Liberal Arts And Sciences Primary Job Posting Location: Macon, GA 31207 Additional Job Posting Locations: (Other locations that this position could be based) Job Details: Mercer University's Computer Science department is searching for a Systems Manager I on the Macon, Georgia campus. Responsibilities: This Systems Manager I position will carry out the workload assigned by the CSC Department's Systems Manager. This includes assisting in planning, acquisition, installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of all computer systems, network infrastructure, and A/V equipment within the Computer Science Department. This position ensures the reliability and performance of all departmental servers, client workstations, faculty, staff, and lab equipment. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Cybersecurity, or related field and two years of working with computer systems and networks, that must include system server administration and LAN Management, are required. In lieu of a degree, equivalent combination of education and directly related experience will be considered. Candidates with a master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Cybersecurity, or similar field are highly desirable. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
