What this job involves:

As a Facilities Manager at JLL, you will oversee comprehensive facility operations with a focus on relationship management, compliance, and operational excellence. You'll lead both technical and administrative staff while ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds client expectations. This role requires balancing strategic planning with hands-on leadership to manage vendor relationships, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will directly contribute to creating safe, efficient, and cost-effective environments that support our clients' business objectives while upholding JLL's commitment to excellence.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Direct facilities staff and service providers to ensure seamless work execution with minimal disruption
  • Develop innovative programs and processes that reduce operating costs while enhancing productivity and client satisfaction
  • Prepare and manage facility capital and operating expense plans, tracking variances and mitigating financial risks
  • Supervise dedicated engineering staff and mentor team members in performance and customer service skills
  • Maintain comprehensive CMMS system management for in-house staff and outside contractors
  • Perform quality assurance inspections to ensure service levels meet established standards
  • Implement and monitor safety protocols to achieve zero recordable incidents and 100% compliance with safety programs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, develop, and execute projects supporting client goals
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 5+ years of relevant facilities management experience
  • Strong leadership, relationship building, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing vendor performance and service contracts
  • Experience with CMMS systems and preventive maintenance programs
  • Knowledge of industrial facilities operations, safe work practices, and building systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facility Management Professional (FMP), or Sustainability Facility Professional (SFM) designations
  • Experience implementing operational enhancements that reduce costs and improve satisfaction
  • Track record of maintaining zero environmental permit violations
  • Background in managing critical facility operations with minimal disruptions
  • Experience developing and implementing innovative facility management solutions
  • Strong background in safety program management and compliance
  • Experience with financial planning and budget management for facilities
