The Role
The Services Release Specialist is a project support role within the Portfolio Release and Readiness operating rhythm, responsible for coordinating release timing, internal readiness, and documentation management across Presidio's portfolio. This individual contributor position, key to developing our product management functionality where products are services, supports Services Product Managers by ensuring synchronized launch activities and stakeholder communications. Created to address release inconsistency and timing gaps identified during quarterly reviews, this structured support role anchors internal Services Release and Coordinates with GTM Product Marketing for external launch sequencing and operational readiness for new and updated service offerings.

Major Responsibilities:



  • Coordinate release schedules across multiple service offerings ensuring aligned timing with sales enablement, marketing, and delivery readiness.
  • Maintain master release calendar incorporating product updates, platform enhancements, and new service launches.
  • Manage release documentation including release notes, version control, and change logs for internal and external audiences.
  • Support Services Product Managers with launch readiness activities including checklist management and stakeholder coordination.
  • Facilitate release planning meetings bringing together product, engineering, sales, and delivery teams.
  • Track release readiness metrics and milestone completion across all workstreams.
  • Ensure knowledge base updates, training materials, and sales collateral align with release schedules.
  • Coordinate communication plans for releases including internal announcements and customer notifications with all necessary roles / Reviewers including Practice Team leads, GTM Coordinators to and ensure they educate themselves on latest team processes and priorities to ensure max effectiveness on release
  • Manage release risk assessments and mitigation plans in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Support post-release activities including feedback collection and issue tracking.
  • Maintain release process documentation and continuously improve coordination procedures.
  • Act as central point of contact for release-related queries from field and delivery teams.


Technology/Area of Specialization:



  • Understanding of software release management processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with services delivery models and operational requirements.
  • Knowledge of GTM processes including sales enablement and marketing coordination.
  • Experience with documentation management and version control systems.
  • Understanding of agile release planning and sprint-based delivery models.
  • Basic technical knowledge to interface with engineering and platform teams.

Required Skills:



  • 2-4 years of experience in project coordination, release management, or product operations roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives in technology environments.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
  • Strong written communication skills for documentation and stakeholder updates.
  • Understanding of software development and release cycles.
  • Experience with knowledge management systems and documentation platforms.
  • Detail-oriented with proven ability to manage complex schedules.

Physical Requirements:

Primarily sedentary office work with extensive computer use. Minimal travel (<5%) may be required for team meetings or training sessions. Standard business hours with some flexibility required during critical release periods.
