Your future role "Take on a new challenge and apply your project management and technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated and collaborative teammates. You'll lead the overhaul and refurbishment of the Newark SDC fleet, driving high-impact results on safety, budget, and timeline goals. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Vendors, Contractors, Engineers), oversee daily vehicle overhaul activities, and ensure synergies between CARP and O&M planning and execution, and much more." We'll look to you for:
Full-time engagement with and constant monitoring of Vendors, Contractors, and Engineers as it relates to the Vehicle CARP project. ,
Collecting and reviewing reports on test results, installation progress, equipment performance, and system access scheduling. ,
Identifying potential product and timeline issues and providing viable solutions and mitigations. ,
Overseeing day-to-day vehicle overhaul activities. ,
Attending and reporting at daily pass-down meetings. ,
Ensuring synergies between CARP and O&M daily planning and execution. ,
Leading and managing a team of direct reports (4) and overseeing a broader team of approximately 11 members (union/non-union). ,
Communicating with high visibility to the customer and ensuring customer approval as per the contract. ,
Coordinating complex technical issues using project management techniques and statistics.",
Meeting safety requirements, payment milestones, and budget goals.
