Salary range:
Total Negotiated Salary (TNS) calculation depending on specialty can range from $324,000 - $370,000. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. This position includes membership in the health science compensation plan, which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Application Window Open date: August 14, 2025 Next review date: Sunday, Sep 14, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Thursday, Aug 13, 2026 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The Pulmonary and Critical Care Division of the Department of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) is seeking candidates for Health Sciences clinical faculty positions, at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels. Responsibilities include in-patient and out-patient clinical service at the UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, the new UC Irvine hospital in Irvine and UC Irvine community clinics. The selected candidates will deliver high-quality training and teaching, provide clinical care to patients, and/or engage in research within the Division. Candidates who can move forward the educational, innovation and research goals of the division are invited to apply. Applicants must hold an MD or equivalent degree, be Board certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and eligible to obtain an active license to practice medicine in the State of California.
