Lead Inventory Analyst

Job Summary

The Inventory Lead is responsible for driving inventory excellence across the supply network by owning the inventory and safety stock strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and enabling effective supply-demand balancing. This role reframes inventory as a strategic enabler of supply chain performance-supporting reliable product availability, minimizing waste, and mitigating risk. The Inventory Lead will lead initiatives to optimize stock positioning, maintain inventory health, and support top-line growth through scenario planning and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, system fluency (SAP, Logility, Snowflake), and the ability to translate data into actionable insights that improve inventory estimation accuracy (ship forecast accuracy), service levels, and inventory efficiency. Balance inventory in the network.

Responsibilities

  • Owns inventory and shipping (Demand-Supply Match) forecast for KTB NAM. That includes the timely reporting on inventory and shipment actuals. Collaborate with other partners to enable an accurate forecast and work on any opportunities of improving the forecast position. Monthly reconciliation of inventory projection to actuals, identifying root causes.
  • Owns inventory and safety stock strategy. Reflect that strategy in planning parameters in Logility and SAP. Create dashboards and reports that would help to analyze and understand both deliverables at a deeper level.
  • Designs and develop inventory improvement initiatives, including workflow redesign, process reengineering, and data automation solutions. Presents scenario planning for inventory positions (risk threshold high-mid-low). Modify existing processes to adopt these improvements.
  • Creates and maintains process documentation, including process maps, standard operating procedures, and guidelines and facilitates training on processes. Facilitates workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on process improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Projects NAM Fill Rate based on shipping forecasts, prioritizing air freight to enhance service. Collaborates with customer service to provide an accurate picture of our service, and understand how to improve OTIF opportunities.
  • Monitors and measure process performance using key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and data analysis techniques. Replicate globally inventory reporting and practices for inventory management.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, science, engineering, management, operations, or a related field.
  • Experience in Business Intelligence, or data and analytics software; like Power BI, Python, R, among others.

Education

  • Desired certification in supply chain (APICS, BS Degree, or others). Master's degree preferred.

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize workload. Ability to lead within a team and with cross-functional groups. Strong analytical skills related to data quality issues to determine causes and/or solutions.
  • In depth understanding and ability to troubleshoot ERP and complex data systems. Individual would have to work with SAP, Logility, Snowflake, among others.
  • Ability to guide special projects pertaining to improve inventory and shipping forecast trends.
  • Strong communication & influencing skills. Ability to summarize and synthetize data or complex situations.
  • Strong business acumen, organizational skills and multi-tasking ability.
