Financial Analyst - Wrangler

Job Summary

The primary responsibilities of the Financial Analyst are to support the Finance Manager and Director of Finance in the development and implementation of the annual budget, the monthly forecasts, the strategic plan, and the analysis & reporting of monthly operating results. He/she will work closely with department managers to monitor the budget and analyze monthly results. In addition, she/he will provide analytical support to business partners to help drive the company's operating performance.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly closing, forecast, reporting, and analysis, the annual operating plan, and the strategic plan processes. Provide variance analysis and determine cause of change. Scope includes the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Provide meaningful, accurate, insightful, and timely management reporting in an understandable format. Use insights to drive improvements in financial performance. Includes margin analysis and analysis of cost center spending/variances for assigned business units and supporting teams.
• Serve as liaison between finance and brand personnel for finance related issues. Able to provide expert procedural advice and solutions and influence business partners to improve financial performance.

• Assist in the enhancement of existing and development of new tools to aid in the management of business tracking and decision making
• Develop volume/rate/mix model to analyze variances and improve portfolio mix to drive margin
• Assist in the development of executive reports for month and quarter ends and present to senior management

Requirements

• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with focus on financial modeling and analysis. Advanced skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office products. Ability to access data from multiple systems and understand the Ability to learn quickly when facing new tasks/objectives and can change quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and disciplined approach to work with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with ability to interface with brand leadership.
• Proven ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks effectively.
