Application Window Open date: August 15, 2025 Most recent review date: Tuesday, Sep 30, 2025 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Monday, Feb 15, 2027 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description Search for General ID and Transplant ID Clinicians, UCSF Health Division of Infectious Diseases The Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine invites applications for the following faculty positions: (1) General ID Clinician: We are seeking faculty members at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor, interested in the management of general infectious diseases. The successful candidate will engage in patient care activities across both inpatient and outpatient settings, including inpatient consult services (both teaching and non-teaching) at UCSF Health, as well as the UCSF Health General ID Clinic. (2) Immunocompromised Host ID Clinician: We are seeking faculty members at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor interested in the management of infectious diseases in immunocompromised hosts, particularly in patients undergoing solid organ transplantation and patients with hematological malignancy. The successful candidate will engage in patient care activities across both inpatient and outpatient settings, including inpatient consult services (both teaching and non-teaching) at UCSF Health and the UCSF Health Transplant ID Clinic. Responsibilities for these positions will also include active participation in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. The position offers opportunities to engage in a variety of creative activities, including clinical research, leadership roles in clinical settings, quality improvement initiatives, and medical education development. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $127,000-$333,700.
