The Mercy OKC Director of Clinic Operations is responsible for management of assigned practices including growth and financial performance, patient access and experience, clinical excellence, caregiver experience, and community engagement. The Director will lead a team of managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and overall practice success. The role works closely with Executive Administration and Physician Leadership for assigned departments to develop new programs and ensure the ongoing success of assigned services.

Operational Oversight & Leadership: Manage multiple physician practices, ensuring Office Managers meet expectations and practices operate efficiently, including billing, budgeting, and facility coordination.

Physician Engagement & Communication: Maintain regular communication with physicians regarding financial performance, compensation, and contract terms; support new practices and coordinate marketing efforts.

Billing & Financial Coordination: Collaborate with Physician Billing and Finance teams to monitor billing metrics, resolve A/R issues, and ensure effective business office processes and training.

Strategic Projects & Compliance: Lead enterprise-wide initiatives (e.g., Epic PM, malpractice programs, Lean design), ensure policy compliance, and recommend improvements across practices.

Team Development & Transition Management: Supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, provide training, and lead transitions such as acquisitions, relocations, and start-ups in collaboration with Mercy departments.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Requires Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration field, Health Care, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: Requires five to seven (5-7) years previous experience in areas of physician practice operations. Previous supervisory experience required.

  • Preferred Education: Graduate Degree preferred.
