Job Description:

Position Summary

The Senior Vice President of Operations will serve as a key member of Entegris' executive leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO/President. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimize the supply chain, procurement, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), environmental health, safety and sustainability (EHS&S), and operational excellence in close partnership with Division Operations Vice Presidents. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of transforming operations in complex, global environments, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring regulatory adherence, while also driving cost efficiencies, optimized inventory, continuous innovation and sustainability. This position is responsible for defining and executing a global operations roadmap aligned with corporate growth and technology leadership goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Management: Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including logistics, inventory management, supplier relationships, facilities footprint strategies, and distribution networks. Responsible for developing strategies to enhance resilience, reduce lead times, and mitigate risks such as disruptions or geopolitical factors.
  • Digital Business Transformation: Collaborate with IT and Digital teams to integrate advanced technologies such as AI and machine learning into supply chain operations, while establishing robust governance around processes and data to elevate customer experience and ensure consistent product quality.
    Ensure Entegris is current with industry trends, adopting emerging technologies (e.g., Digital Business Transformation, AI in supply chain, sustainable practices), and adhering to regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.
  • Strategic Network Optimization: Lead strategic network optimization initiatives to design and implement a resilient, cost-effective and scalable global supply chain footprint, leveraging advanced analytics, scenario modeling and cross-functional collaboration to enhance service levels and reduce total landed cost.
  • Procurement: Lead procurement teams in sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, managing vendor performance and assessing and managing supplier risks. Implement best practices for cost savings, and sustainable sourcing to align with Entegris' goals and the semiconductor cycle.
  • Environmental Health, Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S): Champion EHS&S initiatives to ensure a safe workplace, sustainability and environmental stewardship. Develop and ensure adherence to policies, conduct audits, and drive compliance with local, national, and international regulations, while promoting a zero-incident culture.
  • Operational Excellence: Partner with division teams to ensure operational excellence across the enterprise. Drive continuous improvement programs under the "Entegris Way" using consistent methodologies such Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen across our global organization. Leverage digital tools around process mining to identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency gains to enhance productivity, operational and customer quality across manufacturing locations.
  • Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP): Lead the S&OP process to align demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory strategies with sales objectives. Optimize the SI&OP process and facilitate cross-functional collaboration between sales, finance, and operations to improve forecast accuracy and responsiveness to market changes.
  • M&A: Oversees operational due diligence, integrations and divestitures associated with M&A activities.
  • Talent: Provide strategic leadership to a diverse team of colleagues fostering talent development, performance management, and a collaborative work environment. Strengthen the depth and breadth of Global Operations talent. Build team members' operational expertise grounded in "The Entegris Way" framework. Drive adoption of programs supporting operations talent development at all levels (e.g. Plant Leader Accelerator program, Operations Leadership Development Program, Supervisory training)
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, cost savings, inventory/working capital, safety metrics, and compliance rates; report on operational performance to the board and senior leadership.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role (VP or equivalent) overseeing multiple functions in a global organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in supply chain, procurement, EHS, operational excellence, and S&OP, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Proven success in leading large-scale transformations, such as implementing ERP systems, optimizing global supply chains, and achieving sustainability certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, OSHA standards).
  • Strong understanding of international trade laws (e.g., ITAR, EAR, WTO regulations) and experience managing compliance in multinational operations.
  • Experience with data analytics tools and technologies for operational decision-making.

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed (up to 50%)
  • This position will require regular in person attendance and will report into Entegris' corporate Headquarters in Billerica, Massachusetts.
