  • At least 10 years of directly related experience

  • Knowledge of design/system engineering for a commercial nuclear plant, especially in the area of Steam Generator Replacements and/or multidiscipline EPC project.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to manage multiple tasks and projects through subordinates
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including demonstrated ability to present to clients and work effectively with all levels of staff and management
  • Advanced knowledge of plant modifications and related engineering standards, techniques and criteria
  • Strong analytical ability and problem identification/problem resolution skills; active professional engineering license preferred



Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an SGR Engineering Manager in Charlotte, NC, you will be part of the proven team in the Installed Base Business Unit. The SGR Engineering Manager focuses on the execution of the engineering scopes of work associated with Steam Generator Replacement (SGR) Projects as well as other medium to large Engineer/Procure/Construct Projects. Your work will include:




  • Provides leadership and direction through project engineering managers for complex assignments.


  • Support development and execution of business strategy at a unit level for multiple cost centers and work groups.


  • Provides advanced technical support; guides and reviews the work of engineers and support staff.


  • Reviews progress; updates senior management, as needed. Reports status to Framatome as well as SGT and SGRT management.


  • Through subordinate staff, ensures effective unit performance of complex engineering assignments.


  • Develops schedules and budgets to support project needs. Plans and directs the timely execution of engineering activities.


  • Ensures projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies, objectives and customer standards.


  • Develops and/or administers organization engineering standards and procedures for the group.


  • Provides goals, objectives and standards of performance for assigned team members.


  • Develops new or adapted products, methods, systems or models to provide added value solutions to customers.


  • Works interactively with customers and clients to develop strong relationships.


  • Researches and assesses best practices, proposing methods and improvements.


  • Work with IB-A sales team, internal, and external customers and peers to develop business opportunities, support proposal development, and build strong relationships

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $136,000 - $185,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
