Saxman One is seeking a highly skilled Web Project Manager to lead the strategy, development, and operations of our websites and event-based digital platforms in support of an HHS Event Logistics Contract. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal regulations, delivering user-friendly and 508-compliant web solutions, and managing the end-to-end process of planning, designing, developing, and maintaining digital assets. The Web Project Manager will oversee content strategy, website operations, and event-based web presence, while ensuring all deliverables meet organizational standards and provide real value to users. Key Responsibilities
-Develop and implement overall web strategy, business plan, and annual budget for the website function.
-Manage planning, resourcing, and delivery of website products and services.
-Oversee operational activities of websites, including content creation, editorial oversight, and ongoing site maintenance.
-Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain websites or web applications, including survey or business applications.
-Ensure development of Section 508-compliant applications and adherence to relational database/data retrieval system standards.
-Create engaging, user-focused content that motivates and informs audiences, ensuring websites remain valuable decision-making tools.
-Conduct editorial activities, including gathering, researching, negotiating, and curating content for publication.
-Manage production, web page design, HTML, and web graphics standards and quality. Event- and Meeting-Specific Web Support
-Develop dedicated webpages for each meeting or event, in compliance with federal regulations.
-Coordinate with ACF web contractors when event-related webpages are hosted on ACF platforms (e.g., headstart.gov).
-Ensure all web content and deliverables:
~Are citizen-centric, user-friendly, and Section 508 compliant.
~Conform to ACF Web Standards and HHS web guidelines and policies.
~Incorporate OCC, OHS, and/or ECD images and icons as required.
~Participate in ACF web and technology initiatives and meetings as needed.
~Develop and maintain a System Administration Manual to document procedures.
~Submit all web pages and materials for review and approval by principal meeting organizers prior to
posting.
-Have the ability to provide onsite event support as needed. Qualifications -Demonstrated expertise in HTML, web graphics standards, and content management systems.
-Expert understanding of Section 508 compliance, federal accessibility standards, and EIT deliverables.
-Proven experience in production management, web strategy, and multi-stakeholder coordination.
-Ability to balance technical, creative, and operational aspects of web management.
-Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines. Travel Requirement: A range between 10% and 30% travel should be expected, although changing requirements may alter that percentage.
