The UI Stead Family Department of Pediatrics, division of Neonatology is seeking a Temporary Health Records Associate to join Dr. Danielle Rios team. In this position you will be working with data for multiple studies for either Matlab or Sickbay, perform basic abstracting and coding of data, perform data collection and retention for Matlab. Interpret data and assist in the analysis of the data and writing reports. This position will utilize expert computer and clinical skills to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the data entered in the clinical databases. Education Requirements: * Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Experience Requirements: * 6 to 12 months of related experience in a research or health care setting including working with data, databases and/or data abstraction * Demonstrated experience with medical terminology. * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. * Demonstrated Proficiency in computer software applications such as Microsoft Office. * Demonstrated ability to manage complex information with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy |
