Job Summary

Prepares and cooks meats, fish, poultry, gravies, cereals, soups, vegetables and other foods according to proper preparations methods.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Prepares and cooks meats, fish, poultry, gravies, cereals, soups, vegetables and other foods.

* May be responsible for cleaning, maintenance of kitchen area and cooking equipment

* Maintain grocery inventory.

* Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.

* Ensure cleanliness of food preparation area

* Assists in preparing meals on time as requested by guests

* Notify managers of necessary repairs.

* Collect and dispose of trash.

* Assist guests when necessary.

* Other duties as deemed necessary.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education:High School Diploma or completion of GED equivalent.

Minimum Work Experience:Two (2) years of cooking

License(s) / Certification(s): None.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Ability to Lift at least 25 pounds

* Ability to work effectively in a team or on one's own.

* Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with guests

* Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.

* Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
