Summary:

Now, more than ever, Supplier Engagement & Resiliency has an increased focus in meeting, delivering and exceeding internal and external stakeholders' expectations. We see this as a key lever in how we build resilience in our communities through thoughtful and strategic stakeholder engagement. As such, the company is committed to Supplier Engagement & Resiliency which provides small businesses with an opportunity to bid on and participate in contracting with Cencora that ensures a broad supplier base is established to support our customers. Under the general supervision of the Director, Supplier Engagement & Resiliency, the Manager, Supplier Engagement & Resiliency will be responsible for supporting the development, capacity building, and implementation of the Supplier Engagement & Resiliency Program at Cencora in partnership with the Global Sourcing (direct and indirect), Health Systems & Government Services, Corporate Responsibility, and Sales teams.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Develop and manage detailed metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to measure supplier spend (Tier 1& Tier 2) and engagement against established goals

  • Use advanced tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to provide precise, actionable insights forinternal and external stakeholders

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual customer and regulatory reporting requirements

Supplier Engagement & Program Management:

  • Collaborate with sourcing managers and business units to identify and remove barriers for suppliers inprocurement processes (RFIs, RFPs, direct negotiations)

  • Guide the adoption of standardized frameworks for suppliers and engagement across the organization

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner closely with departments such as Procurement, Finance, Legal, Third-Party Risk Management, Corporate Responsibility, and Sales to advance program objectives

  • Facilitate internal Supplier & Engagement Council meetings to drive alignment and accountability

External Representation & Partnerships:

  • Serve as a key point of contact and advocate for the company with external councils, diverse supplierorganizations, and community stakeholders

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, fostering opportunities to grow their participation inour supply chain

Continuous Improvement:

  • Assess and enhance existing supplier registration and certification processes

  • Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen data integrity, reporting accuracy, and overallprogram impact

  • Performs related duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Requires experience or training in fields such as business administration, stakeholder engagement, sales, marketing,supply chain / procurement, finance or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education

  • Normally requires a minimum of seven to ten (7-10) years directly related and progressively responsible experience

  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills

  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects of various scope in across-functional environment

  • Develops a strong network of small business suppliers to engage, develop and introduce into the Cencora supplier network

  • Models behavior and language that reflects Cencora's commitment to an inclusive and engaged workforce

  • Demonstrates courage of convictions and willingness to challenge the status quo

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of generating precise, high-quality reports and analyses

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with internal stakeholders

  • Excellent business acumen

  • Expertise in data analysis, visualization, and reporting tools (Excel advanced functions, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and ability to apply the appropriate tools and level of analysis to specific situations

    *This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
