What You'll Do Meet production quality, quantity, and safety standards on the shift Act as a liaison between management and the crew Assign daily work assignments to maximize shift operations Keep management abreast of disruptions or changes to output Set clear objectives and hold employees accountable Troubleshoot production problems and lessen downtime Train new employees and ensure equipment certifications are obtained and safety standards are followed Perform inspections of completed work for correct quantity, accurate fabrication, correctly tagged material, and scheduled delivery times Keep maintenance abreast of shop equipment deficiencies and breakage Troubleshoot production problems to minimize downtime Drive results with team members through accountability and performance feedback Ensure adherence to CMC Principles, Culture, and Code of Conduct, company policies and procedures while acting with integrity at all times. Some heavy lifting will be necessary Ability to operate a forklift Work in both cold and hot climates Perform other duties as assigned What You'll Need Leader who displays a "can do" attitude, sense of urgency and dedication to the success of the overall mission of both the Plant and the overall company goals Must be able to multi-task and handle stress in highly productive environment while problem solve in all areas of plant Proficiency in computer applications such as Internet, E-mail, Word and Excel is vitality important Written, oral and presentation skills critical Your Education High School Diploma or GED required We are CMC, a Fortune 500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
