The Role in Brief:

Associate, Seramount Assessment & Strategy

We serve forward thinking organizations with integrated tools that provide a strategic and holistic map for setting new standards for workplace culture. We are hiring an Associate with excellent project management, analytical, and presentation skills. This role will be part of a team that ensures partner obligations are accurately met on schedule, as well as providing support for the creation, implementation, and deployment of talent solutions for our partners. The cornerstone of our work is using evidence-based approaches to conduct in-company research to develop culture change strategies. The role requires both strong analytical and quantitative skills, and innovative thinking and communications to help support client engagements in crafting cutting-edge strategies for tackling complex culture and talent challenges for senior leadership.

This hire may be based in Washington, D.C., Richmond VA, or open to remote candidates within the continental U.S. This position may require occasional travel (10-20%) to partners, events, or conferences.

Primary Responsibilities:

Researcher



  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, interpret findings for team members, and pull out meaningful, data-informed conclusions to larger research questions
  • Contribute and support research studies that synthesize complex ideas into actionable advice for partners


Project Management



  • Support in managing partner processes on time (e.g., identifying and scheduling interviews, completing data analysis, creating partner presentations, etc.)
  • Meet deadlines to deliver high-quality internal and external project deliverables on time
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage processes related to partner-facing events, deliverable production, web publishing, etc.
  • Leverage technology to create efficiencies while maintaining quality


Communication and Delivery



  • Write and edit clear internal and external deliverables, including emails, blog posts, insight pieces, white papers, interview notes, lit reviews, and other partner or research documents
  • Support the storyboarding and creation of partner-facing presentations to communicate research findings and use feedback from managers to improve final deliverables
  • Communicate ideas clearly and logically using executive-focused language, tone, and channel through written deliverables, webinars, and presentations

    • Support the business and technology operations of the team, which may include but not limited to:
    • The creation/setup of virtual workshop/focus group rooms and support of those rooms
    • The creation and maintenance of registration forms for virtual sessions
    • The programming of virtual focus group rooms




Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree with 1-2+ years of corporate work experience, or a graduate degree with at least 1 year of corporate work experience
  • Experience preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials
  • Excellent organizational, oral, and written communications
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines, exhibiting a high level of initiative, motivation, and flexibility to meet ever-changing partner and team demands
  • Experience displaying resilience and comfort with ambiguity; ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment
  • Track record of proactively identifying risks, resolving issues, and removing impediments that jeopardize success of deliverables
  • Execute effectively by using resources efficiently, meeting deadlines, and keeping others informed
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Highly detail - oriented, organized, able to multi - task, follow through and work independently as well as within a highly collaborative team structure
  • Proven business acumen and proficient with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn basic technical support & setup for virtual focus group sessions
  • Experience with at least two of the following:

    • Management or strategy consulting
    • Project management
    • Long-term and/or primary and secondary research
    • Creating partner-facing written and/or data-based deliverables




Ideal Qualifications:



  • Experience working in a consulting, talent services, or research setting
  • Experience working in a team environment and as an individual contributor
  • Excellent prioritization and time management especially in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn usage of Asana and Salesforce

Compensation:

The anticipated starting salary (base) range for this role is $46,500 - $64,500 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.

This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
